LONG LIVE the LEGENDARY PETE SEEGER - he used the power of his beautifully crafted songs to heal a nation.  Here he is on “The Johnny Cash Show”, whistling a few great American Dixie’s…  priceless.

In 2007 while visiting Amsterdam and Barcelona, I caught a special screening of the documentary, “Pete Seeger: the Power of Song” at the IDFA festival.  I was deeply touched by his story of cleaning up the Hudson River from brown, toxic waste in the river; so, he built a boat and went up and down the river singing his songs, gathering more and more people…  Low and behold he built up enough hope to rally people to clean up the river and hold corporations accountable for their violations.

It moved me.  Here is a LINK to that movie, “Pete Seeger: The Power of Song”.
